We arrived in Ho Chi Minh City mid-afternoon and as soon as we got off the bus we were attacked by taxi drivers. We needed a ride to our hotel about 1.2km from the bus stop so asked how much. “Meter taxi” the driver advised us, so we thought, that should be okay. How wrong we were!
