My year in Hiroshima September 5th 1995 I taught English in Hiroshima from 1994 to 1995. Hiroshima has a great park in the center of the city devoted to remembering the atomic bomb. I actually had a student who lived nearby when the bomb hit. I lived in Japan for a year (1994-1995), have been back twice, and have been to South Korea as well. I've been to about 45 US states and 3 Canadian provinces (BC, Que, and Ont).
