A quick trip to Vancouver Island

Well yesterday we picked up a hire car and jumped on the ferry to Vancouver Island. We made a quick trip down to the lagoon near Fisgard Lighthouse for a spot of lunch, and then back into Victoria for an overnight stop. Today the weather took a turn for the better and we headed out of Victoria on Highway 1 up towards Nanaimo with a quick detour to Lake Cowichan. Lots of ideas for places to stay ... read more
