Queñoa Tree

This tree, with its beautiful red bark, grows higher than any other tree in the world. Most of them were cut down by the locals, but this lake still had a small grove.

A Week of Hiking, or Hiking While Weak

Well, we have all returned from our 8 day hike in the Cordillera Blanca and were not at all disappointed by the last second change in plans to this hike.
