Long weekend for tomb sweeping

So we've had an extended weekend with it being the tomb sweeping festival here in China. I've been told by my collegues at work that it's one of the oldest festivals in China and it's a time to remember dead relatives. Sacrificial money is burnt in remembrance. Let me explain.
