Lonely Planet (the bible) calls Ko Phi Phi Don one of the prettiest of them all. Well it is petty, and the sand is white with clear blue sea. It is about 3 times more expensive than anywhere else in Thailand. We paid 1200 baht for our room which was disguisting, smelt of drainage and we didnt have a flushing toilet. After debating about going travelling for months on end, we have decided to go for it and we're sure we've made the right decision! Quit the 9-5, rented out the house, moved back in with the parents to save, and we hope to be able to afford minimum of 6 months! If our money stretches longer than that...great! But we'll see.
