Curtain Tree Fig

A fig tree starts life high in the tree tops where the seed is dropped by an animal. It then sends roots down to the ground; as it does this the fig tree wraps itself around its host tree. It eventually topples and kills the host tree. What remains is a network of trunks and roots. That is what gave the Curtain Tree Fig its distinctive look.
