Short Trip to Thailand I Nong Khai

I spent a short time in Thailand during late November 2009 on my way back from Laos. I arrived in Bangkok from Tokyo at about 4pm and immediately took an Airport Express bus to the station for 150 baht. I then caught an all-night train to Nong Khai in northeastern Thailand near the Laotian border on the Mekong River. The trip took around 12 hours.
