first overland journey with julian 1977-9
November 1st 1977 We arrived in Darwin after 19 days. If felt an incredibly long time although less than 3 weeks. We saw so many different people and places and so many scenes with hippies, rockers etc. It felt so strange that the long awaited time had finally arrived - like an anti-climax. It didn’t really feel we were on our way until we reached Taree.
