Taking down the trusses........

This fiasco captured the attention of the residents in the park as the workers attempted to disassemble the steel trusses which were a big bone of contempt last year. As a result of taking them down, one of the trusses "slipped" and crashed into the the water tank on the roof of the place next door. Oops. That has to be replaced now.

We obviously got here and this is my first entry since we arrived. The park looks terrific and Cesar, the owner, has made some nice little changes. The outside wall is now painted a bright yellow with a blue trim....almost Michigan colors! He put some nice planters around our bodega so I will put some plants in and pray the steer don't come in.
