We checked back into the Chifley for the night before picking up our rental car and heading south to the Gold Coast. Before leaving Brisbane, we took a walking tour around the botanical gardens. In the summer of 2011, we returned to Australia, with our home base in Broadbeach Waters, half way between Brisbane and Gold Coast. Our 3 year-old son, Alex, became a world traveler and enjoyed every minute of it. In the summer of 2007, we travelled to Europe and took a Mediterranean Cruise on the Celebrity Millennium.
