Sea World Ok...now your vacations are finally starting to look more like ours!!! So cute. Can't count the hours we spent in line ups to see big bird, mickey mouse, etc. Worth every second. Alex looks so happy! I think you just might use the pass a couple more times!! So glad you're having fun. P.S. My favourite picture is the one with tom sitting in the back of the truck and Alex driving.
Love the pictures Thanks for sending the pictures. We'll be there on Monday.....now that I've seen the house and pool! Seriously......get the beds ready. xo
Brisbane Skyline at night Look you pic. Is there anyway we can have a copy. Use to live on the river and would really like to do up a picture for our lounge room.
Cheers

Unbelieveable Sarah, it was great to hear your thoughts of your first experience in France. We all had such a great time. We were a true team on and off the ice. It was a trip I am sure none of us will soon forget.
I can't wait to see your pictures!

Hi Good to see mom and dad are having a good time.
Love those math projects your kids did. Emma would be in her glory - crafts AND math.
Love to you all
Kath
Catching up Just read Tom's email about student exchanges so I thought I'd breeze through your last journal entries. What spectacular scenery! Wow!
Also happy belated anniversary.

Happy 9th Happy belated anniversary :)
Looks like you had a nice time celebrating 9

Love to you both

Folowing in your steps We, too, visited KI, but a few days later the weather was better. Aren't the penguins just the best! You are right; you could watch them all night.
Amazing Totally amazing - penguins, seals and roo's. I especially like the pic of the sleeping seal - looks like he's having a good dream.
Sounds like you had a blast despite the weather.
Rabid Kangaroos! Croikey!Rabid KANGAROOS!RUN!!Remember to keep all hands and feet in the vehicle at all times!:P Women and children first! (sorry Uncle Tom!)
Brilliant Photos! What a wonderful adventure. I am reading every detail and I'm captured by the peacefulness and the beauty of the land. Although, I am a little worried for the children being eaten ;) Can I send some more children to you? :)
Hi from the Prep Shop Hi Tom and Sarah. Sounds like you are having a blast. There is so much to do over there, make sure you go to Nimbim and Byron Bay when you get a chance. You will be happy that you kept such detailed notes later when you do your albums. Keep in touch.
Very Exciting! Hi Tom and Sarah! I am enjoying your blogs, and especially the amazing pictures. It's great that you are recording your experiences to share with everyone. Maybe I can win a ticket to visit you there!!
We love the pictures! Hi guys! We miss you both! The pictures are amazing. It's nice to see you wearing your hats. No kangaroo wrestling?
P.S. Lot's of snow, busses cancelled yesterday, -17 with the wind chill. Ahhh.... Canada!

In the summer of 2011, we returned to Australia, with our home base in Broadbeach Waters, half way between Brisbane and Gold Coast. Our 3 year-old son, Alex, became a world traveler and enjoyed every minute of it.
In the summer of 2007, we travelled to Europe and took a Mediterranean Cruise on the Celebrity Millennium. Our trip is documented here.
In January 2007, we returned home from a 12 month teaching exchange to the Central Coast Grammar School, NSW, Australia.
As you can see below, we stopped in Hong Kong, Thailand and Fiji on the way. We have visited Adelaide, Kangaroo Island,... full info
