The Sky is Full of Lanterns

Happy New Year from Shanghai. It was really incredible to ring in the New Year from a big city. We went out to dinner and then since it was pretty cold out we came home and watched the waterfront festivities on one of the Chinese TV channels. When we set up our blog in 2009, we called it the Traveling Stones not knowing how true that would be. We expected to spend two years in China with Jason’s job and then find our way back home. Our stay lasted almost four years and then we found ourselves relocating from MA to NJ.
