Pinnacles Walk - old transport line

Virtually all of the Kauri pine on the peninsula was removed via any means available. This is all that remains of the tracks today.

After Auckland, I headed to the Coromandel Peninsula. I had hoped to visit this area on my last trip to NZ in 2005 but simply ran out of time.
