The ferry to Lombok took about 4 hours, arriving in Lembar where we found a bus to take us to Mataram. We pulled up outside a travel agent/ hotel where , after a long wait, we were told that there had been “conflict with big knives” on the road to Kuta Lombok where we were heading.
