What we´ve all been waiting for. On friday my host family took me to Rio. We left in the morning around 9 o´clock to make the 5 hour journey from Belo Horizonte. Circumlocutorily

Days before leaving to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on an IAESTE internship program a good friend of mine, Hugh, wrote in to Rex Murphy's Cross Country Check-up. He commented on the disagreement between the Prime Minister and the Ottawa Press Gallery using the word "circumlocutorily" (sound it out) to express the way Stephen Harper answered the press's questions. The word stumped Mr. Murphy, quoting "I'll have to get back to you on that one."
