Merida market on Christmas eve

This morning we decided to visit the central market of Merida. Being the day before Christmas, we were advised to park many blocks uptown to avoid the chaos. (Thanks, Kerry!) The traffic was intense, even on foot. Everybody was there, doing last minute Christmas shopping, no doubt.
