We puzzled over what this area

was used for~~it looks like an ice skating rink, except there isn't that much ice skating in Texas! There are bleachers on one side, and towers on both ends. When we finally remembered to ask someone about it, we were told it was for mud games! They flood it with a 2" water line, and they use that same water line to hose the kids down after the games!

Sorry for leaving you sitting in Texas while we’ve been in eight other states! We finished up at Camp Tejas in the rain, of course! The last week the women spent cleaning and inventorying the two gift shops.
