Took day trip North to Abydos and Dendara. Abydos has the best hieroglyphs in Egypt, mainly because the Temle was lost for centuries under sand. There was actually a town situated on top of the Temple for Centuries without anyone knowing what was beneath. This allowed the hieroglyphs to be incredibly colourful still.
