My mother is a northerner and my father is a southerner. He came to North Vietnam in 1954. Because of the American war, he had to stay in northern Vietnam and it took him 21 years until he could go back home to see his parents. My father was an engineer and he used to work in Iraq. Now he is retired and loves to participate in the social activities.
