Lima, Peru
November 15th 2009 In environmental terms alone, Lima is quite different from any city either of us had seen on this trip or beforehand. It is huge (about 7.6 million people) and sprawling. There are very few tall buildings for a city of its size, probably due to the ever present earthquake threat. It is also quite flat.
