We added two new Akita puppies to the household at the beginning of October. Keiko (the female) is an evil genius bent on taking over the world. Rafu (the male) is more of a knothead. Are We There Yet?

I love to travel, although I do not get to wander about as much as I would like to. I fell in love with Costa Rica and would have happily lived there. It is the only place that made me cry to leave. Before the addition of two more Akitas to our household, we traveled across the U.S. with our two Akitas, Biscuit and Rowan. Now that Keiko and Rafu have joined the herd, I balk at moving 500 lbs. of dog around unless I need to. My family will tell you I am mostly sweet-natured with a large streak of dry humor.
