We had to get up at 4.30am for the early start for the 3 hr bus drive into Beijing. Unlike yesterday, today was very sunny, with blue skies and a nice 20 degrees. First stop was at Tiananmen Square. It’s big wide and open about 800m x 500m that attracts about 1M visitors per day. The parliament faces the square on one side and handles some 10,000 visitors and it sits once a month.
