after writing the blog and looking at the hotel site we saw that there is a roof-top resturant in the hotel. this is the view we found. after that we couldn't leave the place. btw you can also see the Potala from there but we already have enough Potala photos

We arrived to Lhasa by plane. we really wanted to get to Tibet with the new train that opened last week but there was a 10 day (!) waiting list and our visa to China expires in 3 weeks so we flew.
