Ranakpur - Jodhpur We drove from Udaipur to Jodhpur and stopped to watch some locals haul water up from a deep well with oxen and a wheel-chain-bucket mechanism, the water pours into a trough where the women wash the clothes and babies before draining into the nearby fields of crops... a very efficient use of water.
