Second Day in Tokyo August 7th 2004 We headed out early on our second day in Tokyo for the buses to Mt Fuji. We grabbed some food before getting on the bus and settled in for the 2 1/2 hour drive. We didn't hit much traffic and got up there pretty fast.

Traveling is an important part of my life. I never realized, until I started to travel around the US and the world, just how much we can learn from experiencing different places, cultures, foods, and people. It definitely broadens your perspective. I have learned to cherish those things that are close to me and those things I grew up with that I probably didn't appreciate enough. I have also learned that the world is a pretty small place and we all have a lot in common and what we do individually immediately affects those around us, as well as those far away.
