Leaving Hue, we travelled across the former DMZ to Ninh Binh, a loud, industrial city where nobody spoke any English. The city was most beautiful from the rooftop of our hotel at sunset, where we could see all the colorful buildings in town and the gorgeous limestone stones set in fields against the horizon.
