Friday August 21 2009 We departed Petit de Grat @ 7am this morning heading for shelter from Hurricane Bill. Hurricane Bill is at the moment a category 4, which is fast approaching Nova Scotia. The local forecast is for Bill to be a Cat 1 as it travels though our area on Sunday producing winds of 65 knots with gust in the higher 70 knot range!, that would translate to 125 to 150 plus km winds.. ... read more
