Growing old in Beijing

The Temple of Heaven is a huge park south of Tian'an Men Square used for sacrifices during winter solstice. What I found fascinating was the older people "playing in the park. There was ballroom dancing, tai chi, mai gong, cards, singing, bands, line dancing and whatever you want to play. The Chinese use outdoor spaces like we use the YMCA. What a wonderful way to keep active socially and physcially.
It's a small world

Sadly, it was time to leave China. The Beijing airport is huge, clean, modern. While standing in line for baggage inspection, I hear, "Marilyn Clark?" What, is something wrong with my passport?
