What's a day in Raleigh without visiting Oakwood Cemetery? Oakwood is just down the road from my high school. It is a sprawling beautiful ol' cemetery. My grandaddy is there. So are lots of dead Confederate soliders. A few died in the civil war--but most of the dead soliders buried there were veterans of the war that died in the 1920's or so.
