The Inca Trail day 1

March 9th 2007
Today we started the Inca Trail which was one of the main draws to South America in the first place. We took a bus from Cusco to kilometre 82 where we began our trek. We were stunned by the number of people already on the bus; we soon discovered they were our porters (otherwise known as (Kuchiwackos) and it worked out as one porter per walker!!
