Yes, this is a river. Every 8 years or so, it even has water in it! These things are some kind of poisonous (isn't everything) melons. Every year they have boat races here. The racers cut holes in the bottom of boats and run down the dry riverbed with them!!

FLIES!! FLIES, FLIES, FLIES!!!!! I've discovered the real reason that nobody really lives in the outback.
