Killing Fields memorial

This tower was erected to honor those who were slaughtered by the Khmer Rouge. To save bullets, their heads had either been bashed in or severed from their bodies as they were killed and dumped into pits in the killing fields area.

Here I am back home in Sherwood Park. Back to a beautiful spring day in the comfort of my two story home, back with my family, neighbors, friends, work ... bills, house cleaning, phone soliciters, ... Oh well, some things never change!
