Hello!! After finally making it to the Laos border, we headed for Khong Island (one of the 4000 islands in the South of Laos) via bus and boat, arriving mid-afternoon to find that there was currently no electricity on the island so our room was almost unbearable in the heat without a fan or air conditioning!
