After a brief stop in Singapore we arrived at Hanoi airport and were met according to plan by transfer service to the one hotel we have pre booked for the next six or so weeks....Good choice..area outside arrivals was an absolute "Bun fight"! We live in the UK and have travelled fairly extensively...Brazil, China, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Africa, Iceland, USA, Most of Europe. We are currently in the planning stages/lead up to a road trip from North to South in Vietnam...arriving in Hanoi on the 23/3/09. Plan is to buy a motorbike in Hanoi and take 3/4 weeks to get down to Saigon, then on to the Mekong Delta and finally end up on Phu Quoc island for a couple of weeks rest and recuperation... ... full info
