The god of home, she was symbolized by a sacred fire, which had to be consantly burning. That was the job of the Vestal Virgins, who served for 30 years. If they broke the vow of chastity, they were buried alive.

The last of our tours with Jerry was the Ancient Rome tour, which included the Roman Forum and Colosseum.
