Chiang Mai - the Rose of the North February 10th 2009 A 1 hour flight courtesy of Air Asia got us to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, saving us an overnight train journey of 12-14 hours!

After years of planning and saving, we finally quit our jobs, packed up our stuff and headed off on our Round The World trip on January 31st 2009.
