Monasterio de San Lorenzo del Escorial aka El Escorial

This giant monastery was built by Felipe II between 1563-1583. This picture was taken in El Patio de Reyes, which is actually the main entrance, however is located inside the palace. From these doors you can enter the church.
First Weeks in Spain
