Bangkok's Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha
January 27th 2009 James, Christine & I toured the amazing Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the famous emerald Buddha. It was one of those rare things that lived up to the hype. Really Impressive. While the emerald Buddha is notoriously small, the temple was gorgeous and the Wat and palace grounds were stunning. Afterward, we took a Long-Tail boat ride down the river and through the canal system.
