April 29 Arrival in Alaska. Finally got the overhauled generator installed this morning after three long days in Whitehorse. Scott and Maria, both of whom had been chomping at the bit to leave, hit the road mid-morning and I passed over them ten minutes short of Washburn, the gravel strip we had chosen as a refueling point.
