Driving to the Southern tip of South America

3 days of driving-Headed for Ushuaia, Argentina the southmernmost city on the continent. At about noon, we passed a sign giving the distance left as 2859 km, or about 1787 miles. NEW TRIP---Starts in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on New Years Eve 2008--we will celebrate on Copacabana Beach--then travel for 50 days or so through Brazil, Argentina, Uruaguay to the Southern most point of South America - Tierra del Fuego--then back up the West coast of South America to Santiago, Chile....decompress for a couple of days in Santiago, then back to Denver about Feb 25, 2009.
