5 Dec - I don't sleep much following Liam's departure and am up at 6am to get to the airport. The staff have been so friendly at the Lytton Hotel. Very sad to leave but glad to get away from the madness of the black hole of Calcutta! I fly Kingfisher Kolkata to Mumbai to Goa with no need to change planes. Welcome to Darling's Travels: From Bellshill to Bangkok and Beyond :) 14 month round the world trip which, at the moment, will cover London to Aqaba overland, Morocco, Southern Africa, India, Thailand (bring on the cats and dogs!), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Australia, New Zealand, San Francisco and Canada... phew.
