A mum and baby...the animals that named the island

Today we went to Rottnest Island. The name came from a captain who discovered the island. Once landed he thought it was infested with big rats and named it "rat nest island". They aren't rats but "Quokka's", they look like mini kangaroo's! We caught the bus round as it's quite big and we could hop on and off as much as liked. The beaches are all pituresque.
