Lake District’s a National Park with stunning scenery. I’ve been really lucky so far weather wise. The gorgeous slate houses are unique to the area, especially being surrounded by jagged peaks and mountain lakes. I stayed in Ambleside, an attractive village and one of the five towns in the park.
