National Park Disco

Lake District’s a National Park with stunning scenery. I’ve been really lucky so far weather wise. The gorgeous slate houses are unique to the area, especially being surrounded by jagged peaks and mountain lakes. I stayed in Ambleside, an attractive village and one of the five towns in the park. The world of Beatrix Potter is here too! Renee Zellweger was in town filming also. Went to a

. The night life reminds me of Banff’s bars, i.e. tons of young people. Maybe it’s a National Park thing. Unlike Banff though for a town that's touristy I hardly noticed any. Also at this disco there were security/door men at each door in the place which seemed completely unnecessary. I ended up ditching the fromage for sleep instead.
