After a water taxi from Caye Caulker, jaunt to the Belize City bus station, and a chicken bus that broke down enroute, I checked into The Aguada Hotel (4 hours later), located in Santa Elena (sister city to San Ignacio). Welcome to my blog! I will be flying to Mexico on December 1, then trekking down and around Belize, where I will hopefully start my Espanol lessons. Early January 2009 will find me Honduras bound, with adventures continuing to Nicaragua and Costa Rica where I intend on becoming a hammock inspector. Once I get fired for sleeping on the job, I will head up to dip my toes into the Pacific Ocean with Danielle in Mexico.
