This building was directly under the detonation epicentre. As a result it survived remarkably in tact and serves as a very sobering reminder to the devistation caused to Hiroshima.

We spent a poignant day at Hiroshima learning about the gastly aftermath of the bombing on 06 August 1945. The museum was a moving experience conveying the needless loss and suffering in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
