...at night...oh lala. An impressive and awe inspiring site. This is where the German armies marched out of at the beginning of World War I and II. This was also a site that was not crossed for 40 some odd years, as the barriers of East and West ran on both sides. Anyone caught within a certain distance was automatically shot.

Ok...so Berlin is amazing. Everything about it is unique, and it is totally different from everywhere else we've been. It feels like a european city, but the visual history is limited since so much of the city has been destroyed so many times.
