Monsters?

The reeds are taller than I am and go for miles in each direction in this area. Just when you think there is nothing else around, one of these pumps pops up out of the reeds. Even though this area is protected, it is also a major oilfield, or so I am told. You can see these things all over the place although not all were pumping when we were there.
