Standing along the Snake River

This is actually Oregon, close to the border of Idaho. It's called Farewell Bend because settlers left the Snake River here to head for the Columbia.

Hi all. We made it to Boise Idaho today; not a very long drive, about 3.5 hours but we did stop at the Snake River and took some pictures and enjoyed one of the stops along the Oregon trail.
